Steel is 100% recyclable and therefore contributes extensively to the protection of our environment and the availability of the fundamental resources for following generations.

The European steel industry is the world leader in its sector with a turnover of EUR 140 billion and direct employment of 370 thousand people, producing more than 200 million tons of steel per year.

European Commission announces anti-dumping investigations on imports of wire rod from the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Moldova and Turkey

The European Commission with today’s publication in its Official Journal (C 113 of 08/05/2008) opened anti-dumping proceedings against imports of wire rod from China, Turkey and Moldova as was requested by EUROFER, the European Confederation of Iron and Steel Industries, on March 25.
